"The Husband's Secret" by Liane Moriarty - Book Review

Happy reading friends! Let's take a look at The Husband's Secret by Liane Moriarty.

General information
Paperback: 464 pages
Genre: Mystery
Publisher: Berkley
Series: No
Moriarty, Liane. 2013.

What it's about
Imagine that your husband wrote you a letter, to be opened after his death. Imagine, too, that the letter contains his deepest, darkest secret - something with the potential to destroy not just the life you build together, but the lives of others as well. Imagine, then, that you stumble across that letter while your husband is still very much alive...

Cecilia Fitzpatrick has achieved it all - she's an incredibly successful businesswoman, a pillar of her small community, and a devoted wife and mother. Her life is as orderly and spotless as her home. But that letter is about to change everything, and not just for her: Rachel and Tess barely know Cecilia - or each other - but they too are about to feel the earth shattering repercussions of her husband's secret.

Why I loved it
Liane is brilliant in hooking you and keeping you hooked until the very last page. I didn't want to put the book down to know what John-Paul's secret is and what happens to all of the characters. I loved reading about all the different characters and their lives. How the seemingly don't have anything to do with each other, but as the book goes on we realize that each character plays a role in each others lives. It just goes to show that you can have a huge impact on someone's life, even if you're only around for a small amount of time.

Why you should read it
I definitely recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a good plot twist, a little mystery and all around intriguing book.
