Miscellaneous Monday - Books on My TBR List for Way too Long

I've noticed that book bloggers always reference and talk about their TBR ("to-be read") list quite often. We like to say what's on our radar for upcoming months or seasons. When I scroll through Goodreads, I'm always adding books to my TBR list. It's seriously never ending. This week I wanted to look at my Goodreads TBR shelf and see what has been on this list since I first opened my account in 2011. There's no real rhyme or reason for not reading these other than I haven't been able to get my hands on them - and there are so many other books. Let's take a look shall we?

1. Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert

2. Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden

3.  The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver

4. A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith

5. Animal Farm by George Orwell

6. Life of Pi by Yann Martel

7. Then Came You by Jennifer Weiner

8. Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte

9. Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen

10. The Memory Keeper's Daughter by Kim Edwards

With some of these, it's easy to sense the theme of what I want to read. And I'm excited to say that after many years, I will definitely be reading at least a few of these - as they are currently on my book shelf.

What's been on your TBR list for way too long? Let me know in the comments below.
